NFL Predictions for the 2025-2026 Season
- IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO THEY DRAFT THE GREEN BAY CHEESE PACKERS ARE GOING TO TEAR UP THE NFL. LOOK FOR THE CHEESE PACKERS TO FINISH WITH THE BEST RECORD IN THE NFC. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL I AM ONLY PREDICTING THEY HAVE THE BEST REGULAR SEASON RECORD.
- The Detroit Lions will not rule the NFC Norris, they may even get taken down by DA' Bears.
- The Cowboys solid drafting and good maneuvering for a wide receiver still doesn't make Dak a better quarterback or make Micah Parsons want to stay.
- Russell Wilson will once again prove he can no longer play quarterback in the NFL, hello Jaxson Dart.
- The NFC East will be The Commanders to lose.
- Baker Mayfield continues to stay on top of the NFC South.
- Tyler Shough starts for The Saints at quarterback. Derek Carr spends season as Offensive Assistant.
- The Falcons and Michael Penix Jr. make a run at The Bucaneers, but come up a little short.
- The NFC West, who knows? Watch out for The Seachickens, Darnold, Cupp and Smith-Njigba.
- The Kansas City Chiefs will not rule The AFC and may not even rule The AFC West.
- The AFC West beats the crap out of each other and may not have enough left for the rest of the league.
- The Bengals return to a playoff threat, but The Ravens stay on top.
- The Browns get good value for Dillion Gabriel in a trade. Flacco starts until he gets injured, then Sanders replaces him backed up by James Winston who gets cut by the Giants. Pickett brings good value in a trade at the deadline.
- The Steelers do not sign Aaron Rogers and start Will Howard at quarterback. Mason Rudolph has to clean up some games for Howard.

- Cam Ward proves to be the best rookie quarterback on the field, but the Titans struggle as a team.

- The Colts Management stays on their high. Daniel Jones steps in at quarterback and has some success with Tyler Warren and Jonathon Taylor.

Rogers Will Lead the Steelers to Exceptional Mediocrity
ESPN Reported Aaron Rogers signed a one-year contract with The Pittsburgh Steelers. I guess this is a stop gap for Will Howard and Mason Rudolph will back him up as Will learns. Rogers numbers were good last year, but The Steelers need some personnel and a-lot of work. Rogers has two NFL receivers a good tight end, adequate running backs and a shaky offensive line to support him. Beyond that not anything else.

NFL FEATURE OPINION
My Guess on What Happened to Shedeur Sanders?
Every day I see something written about Shadeur Sanders. Two days ago was he was going to be cut, yesterday it was he will be third string, today it is he is going to start for sure. These writers are guessing just like all the other football freaks out there, nobody has a real inside look except the Browns Coaching Staff. Don't believe any of this garbage the press throws on you about Sanders. Below I will bullet point my best guesses.
- Sanders is highly skilled at his position.
- Sanders was coached by solid NFL Coaches all his life.
- Sanders was raised by an ego maniac.
- Sanders personality did rub some NFL Teams the wrong way.
- After not being drafted, he realized you can't fight The NFL, so conform.
- The Browns figured we take him fifth round and work on his attitude and maybe we have an NFL QB.
- The Browns if we get him in round five that is a first round talent in round five.
- Even though we have other QB's we can always trade the QB's we don't want.
- Sanders still acted the fool when he arrived at The Browns facility.
- Sanders signed a contract with The Browns quickly. Sanders knows the second contract is the big one.
- Sanders will play in an NFL game in the 2025-2026 season.
Follow Up - I have seen Sander's practice video at The Browns facility, and he looks really good. I have no doubt that Sanders has the talent, skills and ability to play quarterback in the NFL. My thoughts are the big issue with him not playing is he has issues from the way he was raised. Parent don't realize that everything they do and say may or may not affect their child long term. If Shedeur can wake to the reality of being just another football player, then he can make it as an NFL QB. It is all up to him and if he wants to accept, he is just another QB fighting for a starting job and it won't be handed to him. I think we will see him on the field in 2025 at least once. If I was The Browns, I would trade Gabriel and either trade or release Flacco.

Cam Jordan has been a Saints defensive end for 15 years now. Cam will become The Saints all time games played leader during the 2025 season. Cam may be asked to play Linebacker this year, and he has no comment except I have not played that position for a few years, but I am ready to play there because it means more sacks. Cam had a down year last year getting only four sacks. Cam has a new Head Coach and a new Defensive Coordinator, and he is sickeningly positive about the upcoming season. He is way more positive than I was arriving at work grumbling at coworkers in the hallway. I really admire this man for his attitude work ethic loyalty and overall impression you get from him. Cam plans on playing 2025 and two more seasons, barring injury or another event which changes the plan.
Cam is proud to be one of the defensive players who will be associated with Saints when you say great Saints defensive players. Cam's father Steve played all his season with the Vikings and maybe that was instilled in him as a young man, loyalty and stay until the job is done. This very unusual in this get me the most money I don't care if it is playing Rugby in Iran era. There are other unusual things about Cam Jordan and they are very nice things. He speaks English, he seems to respect the interviewer, no matter how small of organization they are from, he values family, education and feels fortunate to be able to play football for a career. This is an extraordinary individual in today's athletes, but a run of the mill fifty to sixty years ago. What happened in the last fifty years in professional sports? That is a question you and you friends can answer while having an adult beverage and smoking a fine Honduran cigar.
TODAY'S NFL PLAYERS FEEL A NEED TO CELEBRATE DOING THEIR JOB
after a turnover you are allowed to take your defensive posse downfield into the end zone and pose for the camera. Defensive Linemen and Linebackers are required to perform a sack dance after sacking the quarterback. If a player sacks the quarterback and does not have a sack dance to celebrate doing his job, he could be fined by his coworkers, his team and maybe the union. The big question is why do today's players have the need to perform a sack dance, a tackle for loss performance and a big hit taunt? Some of the meanest, most efficient and most feared defensive players in NFL history didn't feel the need to have dance routines performed after making a good play. Go back and review film of Ray Nieztke, Mike Curtis, Mike Singeltary, Dick Butkus, Jack Lambert, Troy Polamalou, Steve Atwater, Jack Tatum, Ronnie Lott, Joe Green, Deacon Jones, Aaron Donald, Bruce Smith etc. I don't think they danced in the face of the opponent after making a good play. Lawrence Taylor was great and he did put on some theatrics after making a play, but that could have been due to his diet.
Mark Gastineau may be the father of the sack dance, why do players now feel they should and have such a strong desire to show everyone I can jump up and down and look like an idiot after making a good play which is just doing their job.
Does this go back to, starting around 2000, celebrating everything our children did even the smallest thing, so they now as adults feel they must have recognition for just doing the job they are getting paid for? I was told as a youngster practice until you become the best in the world at it, well obviously that didn't work for my sports career. I had a very successful professional career, maybe my upbringing had an effect? I remember growing up, I only celebrated once hitting a homerun off my then best friend in Little League. Yes, I taunted him mercilessly for the rest of the game and the summer. I knew he would have done the same and that he would still be my best friend. Home runs hit after that I circled the bases in a dignified manner keeping my mouth shut even after hitting a Salami. I felt no need to yell, scream, taunt or dance, but the desire to dance around and act the fool was not there. Even as an adult winning bowling, softball and eight ball leagues I did not feel the desire to taunt and dance around. I know it is not a fair comparison, but one softball tournament my team with two 30-year-old men who played high school and some scrubs against a team with three 24-year-olds who just played baseball in college was a monumental achievement on our part. Every time it was, I am so glad that is over, and we won I can't believe it. No desire to dance in the opponents' face, dance in front of the crowd or pose for Instagram pics. Why? is it just me? Is it just my generation before social media? Is it different childing rearing methods? Is it just an evolved society now? Discuss with your friends while having your favorite adult beverage.
